Grandidieri Baobab Tree Seeds Germination Challenge (Part 2: Germination episode)
1. Four days after germination on a kitchen towel, one seed starts to move!
2. After another day, the pointed root came out more. It's time to move it to the soil!
- In order to sprout other seeds, it continues to put the spray and disposable containers on the router.
3. Prepare a disposable coffee cup. Tape the lid on the top.
- [Important thing] Putting tape on the lid is to increase the humidity. I recommend that you put some air on it.
4. In a disposable coffee cup, make a hole with an awl.
- [Important thing] I recommend that the hole is bigger and more drilling than this. It's because the drainage isn't as good as I thought. Raise the drainage power!
5. Put the soil for normal grinding and gently put the seeds on top. Then cover the soil about 1 to 2 cm. And let it soak.
- [Important thing] If you don't mix it in addition to regular ground soil, it will increase the humidity and reduce the drainage... I recommend that you mix pearlite or rice husk additionally. I think it's better to increase the drainage power.
6. There's something peeking!
- [Important thing] It is said that it is better to have dark roots. I recommend that you do not throw away the cup holder and insert it into the transparent cup. (I even put two cup holders in.)
If you grow seeds first, you can see something more affectionate and cute.
