Introduction: Baobab tree, you have a plan!
There is a very famous scene in the Korean movie 'Parasite'.
Actor Choi Woo-sik, who starred as his son in the drama, falsifies his college diploma. After that, he gets a job as a tutor for a daughter from a rich family. (FYI, a friend (actor Park Seo-joon) introduces him to the job.) Actor Song Kang-ho, who starred as a father, tells his son Choi Woo-sik. There is a famous scene.
You have a plan.
You may wonder why I talk about the movie unnecessarily while talking about baobab trees.

Plant's Amazing Survival Instinct: Baobab tree
Baobab trees live in areas where the dry and the rainy season are evident.
The baobab trees have the following plans.
- During the rainy season, baobab trees store as much water as possible for insurance on their stems and branches.
- In addition, U-shaped branches are designed so that water flows down toward the tree. The purpose is to absorb as much water as possible even after the rain stops.
- In the dry season, all the leaves are dropped. Leaves are dropped to prevent loss of moisture in the leaf pores.

I'm very interested in how plants evolved to survive and reproduce these days. The more you know about plants, the more you realize that plants are amazing!^^
